In December the Skywalker System was packed up and sent on a trip to Barcelona, to help film the NIKE commercial that would be first aired during the breaktime of the Champions League Finale in Munich in summer of 2012. The system was rigged as a 3D-System to fly cameras (ARRI Alexa and a Phantom Highspeed Camera) around the football players. The cameras were mounted on a gyro stablilized Libra Head that was connected to the Skywalker System. This way it was possible to recreate all camera moves with almost 100% accuracy and that at a topspeed of 12,8m/s! The director and the DOP loved the system so much, they ordered it in for a second time during the shoot of this commercial. It was a great time and the resuts are spectacular!
